What it is and who needs it

A requirement for bidding on large public contracts

Procurement Policy Note 06/21 has been mandatory since September 2021. It requires suppliers bidding for central government contracts above £5 million per year to publish a Carbon Reduction Plan.

The plan must confirm a commitment to achieving net zero by 2050, report your Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and a defined set of Scope 3 sources, and be signed off by a company Director. Without one, you are excluded from bidding. Emissio produces this plan in the required format the same day.

Does this meet PPN 006 requirements?
